Professor Colin Scott is Principal of University College Dublin’s College of Human Sciences and Professor of EU Regulation & Governance. In last week’s interview, Professor Scott discussed his research on private regulators within a diverse set of markets, e.g. the role of the International Swaps and Derivatives Association (ISDA) in the Greek debt crisis. We also discussed the emergence of private meta-regulatory regimes and consequences for policymakers.
