Biodiversity 2050: Can the Convention on Biological Diversity Deliver a World Living in Harmony with Nature?

Peking University’s School of Transnational Law recently hosted a virtual lecture by Dr Michelle Lim on the theme of “Biodiversity 2050: Can the Convention on Biological Diversity Deliver a World Living in Harmony with Nature?”. Dr Lim is a senior lecturer at Macquarie Law School and discussed the current state of biodiversity and the particular challenges of global biodiversity governance. The webinar also evaluated the target-based approach of the CBD and discussed the prospects for the upcoming COP15 meeting in Kunming.
